Ami Bar-Mashiah, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Bar-Mashiah provides overall direction for the company, leading business development for expansion of both borrower and investor sectors. Mr. Bar-Mashiah is a respected mortgage banker with over three decades of experience and a keen understanding of the New York region real estate market. Prior to establishing Bayport Funding, Mr. Bar-Mashiah was owner/president of Mortgage Enterprise, Ltd., a New York State Licensed Mortgage Banker. Mortgage Enterprise, which was sold in 2009, originated more than $2.5 billion in residential mortgages. Mr. Bar-Mashiah has served on various mortgage advisory boards, including Citicorp, Chemical Bank and GreenPoint Mortgage.

In addition to his mortgage banking activity, Mr. Bar-Mashiah applied his residential real estate expertise to the management of an investment fund he founded to provide short-term acquisition financing for real estate professionals seeking to renovate properties in the New York metropolitan area.

Mr. Bar-Mashiah received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the City University of New York, Queens College.

Mira Bar-Mashiah, Principal

Mira Bar-Mashiah brings a wealth of experience to Bayport Funding’s executive team. Ms. Bar-Mashiah was a principal of Mortgage Enterprise Ltd., a New York State Licensed Mortgage Banker, where she was responsible for establishing pools of mortgages for sale in the secondary market to mortgage conduits and investment firms, negotiating the terms of each transaction and supervising deliveries. In addition, Ms. Bar-Mashiah oversaw operations and regulatory compliance and was the firm’s underwriting manager for FHA and conventional mortgages.

Ms. Bar-Mashiah received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the City University of New York, Queens College.

Jane Gol, Principal

Highly regarded for both her knowledge of the New York real estate market as well as for her sharp eye for detail, Ms. Gol plays a key role in Bayport Funding’s management and investment decisions. Ms. Gol is president of Manhattan-based Continental Ventures Realty where she oversees the execution of new development opportunities primarily focusing on the development of luxury residences and retail opportunities. Ms. Gol directs and manages the financing, marketing and leasing of Continental’s residential and commercial portfolio.

Ms. Gol served as a Commissioner on the New York City Planning Commission under Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg. Most recently, Ms. Gol served as a Director on the Board of IDBNY Bank.

Amir Chaluts, Principal

Mr. Chaluts has vast experience in ground-up construction, gut renovation and new development of rental and condominium properties. As CEO of Continental Ventures Realty, Mr. Chaluts has led the company’s developments in New York, Toronto and Florida. By offering his tremendous knowledge of deal structure and his expertise in local market opportunities, CVR has developed a major portfolio of luxury condominium and retail properties. Mr. Chaluts leads the negotiating and structuring of new acquisitions.

Regarded as a visionary, Mr. Chaluts was an early investor in the 1990′s in the Lower East Side and Murray Hill neighborhoods of Manhattan and helped invigorate these now sought-after areas. He is known for his astute ability to identify and improve underperforming properties, transforming them into properties and neighborhoods of maximum value. Mr. Chaluts is also a partner in S&H Equities, which earned a reputation for creating desirable properties in New York City’s most coveted neighborhoods.

Eitan Shertzer, CFO

Mr. Shertzer brings more than a decade of experience in the real estate industry to his position as Bayport Funding’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Shertzer has perfected his exceptional accounting skills over a long career that included employment as CFO and controller of several successful real estate entities. Among his accomplishments, Mr. Shertzer represented a major partner in a billion-dollar real estate conversion project. Using his extensive background in business and accounting, Mr. Shertzer’s constant goal is to ensure a professional, transparent, and reliable lending process.

His experience also includes top-level financial posts at S&H Equities and the Bracha Group of Keller Williams Realty, one of the top real estate brokerage teams in the country.

A Certified Public Accountant in Israel, he holds dual degrees in Economics and Accounting from the University of Haifa.
